The "right" way to create manifest is when the courier arrives. Actually manifest and handover are supposed to be the same things, but due to reasons below we had to have two different steps
Some B2C channels measure your performance on how fast the orders have been manifested. So manifests have to be created before the trucks arrive. This is why manifest need to be created.
Since manifests have been created before the trucks arrive, there needs to be a separate process to ensure that right items are being handed over. So there is a separate process for handover
So both processes are required. If you are needing to deal with too many manifests then
Group items in batches of 50 to create manifests. We should not be creating manifests for less than 10 orders
There is a feature in the system to just scan the AWB and keep adding AWBs to create a handover
